Aufgaben The role of the Account Development Managers (ADM) focuses on growing the SIoT business within the defined target markets and accounts with high growth potential selling strategically aligned product solutions and new product families.

Key Responsibilities:
The ADM identifies growth potential and new business opportunities with target OEM accounts inside the defined sales territory. The main task is the development and successful closure of new business opportunities according our SIoT strategy to achieve long lasting, sustainable and profitable growth.

He/She develops and continuously expands the relationship with our OEM customers to position SIoT as a leading supplier for sensing and switching products and understands the customer requirements which he turns into attractive/competitive product offerings.
The role develops an effective interface between customer needs (direct or indirect), the respective Product Management team and the Sales Management.
Profil Qualifications:
  • The position requires a huge degree of motivation and self-confidence with high level of integrity and a large breadth of knowledge, experience and expertise. In parallel the position requires to meet the following criteria:
  • The candidate has several year experience in sales, application engineering, product management, product development with direct OEM customers contact preferably in the area of sensing and/or switching technology
  • The candidate has experience in working with CRM-Tools – i.e. Salesforce.com on a daily basis
  • The candidate is steadily striving to do his work in a growth oriented culture to constantly generate and drive growth initiatives
  • The candidate has an appropriate level of experience inside the market of sensors and switches as well as Know How in one or more of the following areas: Speed and Position Sensing, Pressure Sensing, Thermal & Humidity Sensing Switching Technology and the Internet of Things.
  • Technical knowledge and application Know How in one or more of the following market segments: Industrial Automation, Aerospace, Medical Equipment and/or Transportation and the associated sensor technologies is highly appreciated.
  • Fluent in German and English language, both oral and written.
  • The candidate will have regular dialogue with R&D engineers therefore we prefer degree in electronics, mechanics or any similar discipline or multi-year experience in technical sales
  • Proven success in acquiring new OEM customers and contacts at management level
  • Experience in working with multi-national companies, especially in a virtual team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both internal and external
  • Willingness to travel. The role requires a min. 50% customer facing time
