Aufgaben
- We are looking for an „Valve Engineering Specialist“ for a Nuclear Power Plant in the UK,
- Working as the right hand of the Site Manager.
- Responsible for valves in the project.
- Provide comprehensive technical expertise in valve systems, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure safe, reliable, and high-performance valve solutions across all operations.
- Create, evaluate, and refine methods for valve selection, installation, commissioning, and functional testing in industrial environments.
- Monitor and assess operational data of valve systems.
- Identify failure patterns, perform root cause investigations, and propose technical or design-related improvements.
- Provide technical expertise for valve-related project phases.
- Assist with technical specifications, supplier evaluations, procurement reviews, and quality control processes.
- Verify adherence to relevant industry standards, internal guidelines, and legal or regulatory requirements for valve systems.
- Work closely with valve manufacturers, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure technical consistency and alignment with project objectives.
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed technical records, performance reports, and lifecycle documentation related to valve operation and maintenance.
Qualifikationen
- 5+ years of experience in valve engineering, preferably in nuclear or power plant environments
- Strong knowledge of nuclear codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Practical experience in valve design, testing, and installation
- Familiarity with quality assurance and inspection processes
- Technical expertise in nuclear safety-related valve systems
- Experience in valve analysis, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of project-based work
- Proficiency in relevant standards and tools
