In Yara an operational improvement project is ongoing as a result of a Strategy review. The overall role of the local Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) is to lead the local transformation process at the site, provide detailed analyses within the project in line with the business strategy, and manage improvements in process, organization and skills, performance management, and mindsets & behaviors.

  • work within a highly dedicated team
  • act as ‘change agent’ within production, maintenance and associated areas
  • define and manage projects with the objective to
    • implement new processes / ways of working
    • introduce new technologies / digital applications
    • achieve higher plant reliability / higher performance
  • master cultural change
  • foster transition processes
  • define, set and achieve performance indicators

  • Bachelor / Master degree in engineering or other relevant subject alternatively at least 5-years experiences in a leading position within production area preferably chemical industry
  • experiences in ‘change management’ are beneficial
  • highly motivated and self-driven 
  • able to foster team work
  • excellent communicator, able to train / to motivate various teams
  • willing to work with different cultures in an international environment
  • fluent in English and German language
