Product Manager / Business Development Manager Life Science (m/f/d)

Molecular Biology / Genomics and related applications

Product Strategy and Roadmap Development

• Define and develop the product strategy as well as workflows and solutions for molecular biology and genomics-related products and applications
• Align product strategy with market needs and company goals

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including suppliers, distributor managers, sales teams as well as field application scientists and customers
• Cooperate with international Biomedica sales teams
• Visiting and supporting national and international congresses, roadshows and seminars

Market Research and Competitive Analysis

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape together with sales teams and our business development.
• Analyze competitor products and strategies
• Forecasting & reporting

Customer Engagement and Support

• Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and understand their needs
• Provide technical support and training to sales teams and customers
• Perform online as well as on-site demonstrations of instruments and related workflows

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, or a related field
• Experience as a product manager or salesperson in the biotech or life sciences industry is welcome but not required
• Strong understanding of molecular biology, NGS and PCR techniques, and related applications
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly and pass on knowledge to others
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Microsoft Office skills
• Very good English skills (written/spoken)
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)

The gross monthly salary for this position starts at EUR 3000 (full-time) and will be discussed and agreed on an individual basis, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
