Aufgaben

This position is for the development of Vitesco owned ASICs and Functional Semiconductor Blocks.

Vitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of modern drive technologies for sustainable mobility. With intelligent system solutions and components for electric, hybrid and combustion drives, Vitesco Technologies makes mobility clean, efficient and affordable. The product portfolio includes electric drives, electronic controls, sensors and actuators as well as solutions for exhaust gas aftertreatment.

Your new responsibilities:

  • Development of Vitesco owned ASICs (e.g. PMICs with safety monitoring, BLDC-drivers, IGBT drivers for electric drives, solenoid drivers)
  • Close cooperation with the semiconductor suppliers, especially regarding design. Detailed delving into design (incl. layout), simulation results and test results
  • Simulation (System- and schematics simulation) for concept development and design verification
  • Support of the module and application departments (worldwide) to apply the ASICs
  • Designing of IP-Sub-blocks for a Vitesco owned ASIC block library
  • Close cooperation with silicon foundries (e.g. GlobalFoundries, TSMC …) for exclusive Vitesco ASICs
  • Development for new concepts to reduce time to market

Profil

Your profile:

  • Academic degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Long-time professional experience in analog/mixed signal design (Schematic, simulation, back annotation, design for test) preferably in automotive field
  • In-depth knowledge and experience regarding semiconductor processes (e.g. GF, TSMC, …)
  • First functional leading experience desirable
  • Project experience, especially related to ASIC Design
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English language, German appreciated
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in intercultural teams, personal initiative, high engagement
