 In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for the global warehouse and transport network for the supply of spare parts to the steadily growing fleet of wind turbines in Nordex Service.

  • Management responsibility for an intercultural team of around 20 White Collar employees, thereof 3 “group leads” and 1 process expert as “direct reports”
  • Strategic design and implementation of the global spare parts distribution strategy, mainly for warehousing and outbound transportation (road-, sea- and airfreight)
  • Ensuring an effective and smooth spare parts supply through the professional day-to-day management of all involved logistics service providers
  • Continuous improvement of the global distribution network with an optimal balance between short delivery times, high reliability and very good cost-effectiveness
  • Leading or participating in tenders for logistics services in close cooperation with the strategic procurement department
  • Active participation in projects for the sustainable optimization of the worldwide spare parts supply chain (inbound and outbound) 
  • Conception and regular collection of suitable KPIs for transparent control of the department


 Ideally, you will have several years of experience in the management of global spare parts supply chains. Well-founded thinking in SAP structures complements your profile.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering, preferably with a focus on logistics, supply chain management or transportation
  • Alternatively, comparable vocational training with corresponding additional qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of 3rd party logistics provider management, warehouse management, transportation planning as well as customer support
  • Successful participation in logistics tenders for warehouse and / or transport management
  • Experience of leadership as well as deep knowledge in project, lean and change management would be desirable
  • Motivated and committed personality with a high degree of drive and ownership
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong and successful teams with an enjoyable working atmosphere
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to work in an international team
  • Experience in working with different business cultures and building strong personal relationships
  • Profound knowledge of SAP S/4, SAP ECC (mainly module MM) as well as MS Office
  • Fluent in English; ideally also Spanish and / or German on a professional level
  • Willingness to travel regularly, especially between the company locations in DE-Hamburg, DE-Rostock and ES-Pamplona
